Residents of Tharaka Nithi were shocked to find several iron-sheet boxes, each with a goat head and a horn, kept outside a couple of schools.
It is not clear why the boxes were 'abandoned' outside the schools. However residents believe the motive behind the actions was purely sorcery.
Tharaka member of Parliament, Mburi Muiru visited the affected schools and sought to calm the agitated residents. He linked the abnormal actions to politics and not witchcraft.
