Meru governor, Peter Munya, attended the recent Ameru-Festival event held in his county dressed like a rock star. His dress code was unanticipated. However it left many people talking about the governor's taste and ability to connect with party goers through is mode of dressing.
Many young Meru county residents in particular and Kenyans in general took to social media to talk about what they thought about the governor's dress code. While many thought it was cool others disagreed. But it was not lost in the conversation, that the governor was dressed in a manner they were not accustomed to seeing governors dress. Certainly majority loved it even calling him cool.
