Renowned Radio Personality, Maina Kageni, will be in Meru this Saturday to sample the county's tourist attractions.
Maina Kageni's trip to Meru is part of an initiative by the Ministry of Tourism to promote domestic tourism. The campaign dubbed Tembea Kenya aims at showcasing the key attractions in all parts of the country through the eye of a local tourist hence the choice of a celebrated Radio Presenter.
The Maina Kageni Road Trip campaign which began a year ago has so far taken him to counties such as Nyeri and Kisumu. It is sponsored by Shell and General Motors among others.

This week's trip was flagged off by the CS for Tourism, Najib Balala, in Nairobi on Wednesday.
