The upcoming Devolution Conference which begins in Meru on Monday is the biggest governance gathering to be held in Meru in recent times.
The event will be hosted by Meru governor, Peter Munya, who is also the Chairman of the Kenyan Council of Governors.
President Uhuru Kenyatta is expected to attend the event which will also be attended by all the 47 governors, cabinet secretaries, members of Parliament and members of County Assemblies.

International investors and leaders have also been invited to the event. Among them will be the Prime Minister of Namibia.
